Do Americans know how gloves work?

Last time I checked, gloves are supposed to serve as a barrier between your hands and something that carriers a lot of germs/bacteria, to keep your hands as clean/safe as possible. I understand with this Covid-19 pandemic people would want to wear gloves. What I don't understand is wearing gloves and then proceeding to touch everything you own.

I was at the grocery store and of course saw people with masks and gloves on....understandably. But I also saw at least 10 people with gloves on, touching/using their phones, touching their purses and wallets and everything else. If I have gloves on and touch raw chicken, I am not going to pick up my phone with those same gloves on.


Maybe it's a mental thing and makes people feel safe, but it is kinda hilarious to see these people out and about.

I stay out of stores unnecessarily..

People have no clue how germs work..

Its basically everyone has to do whats best for them..

Some chick was bragging about wearing gloves and only taking her card into the store with her then taking them off when she leaves and gets in her car. 1) She doesn't wipe off the card before touching it with her bare hands after she's done with the gloves. 2) She will use her bare hands to touch all the stuff she used the gloves to touch from the store.


Might as well just stop wearing the gloves if you're going to transfer germs around.

This dumbass kid I know...he asked me to take a ride with him to get some food and coals for his hookah

We get tk the place he ordered himself and me a sandwich.

Im in the passenger seat devouring this sandwich and look over this muthafukka has his gloves on and is wiping his hands with lysol wipes and then proceeds to eat his food.

Me being me i said, yo what u doing?

He said man i wiped my gloves with lysol.

I stopped the convo and finished my sandwich.

3 hours later he texts me, yo bro i should've stayed home...i feel sick

I said your dumbass ate your sandwich with your dirty ass gloves...he said, why you aint tell me to take em off...hahaha
