Hell yeah. Been in college for four years, hoping it wasn't all just a waste of time and money.

I feel you breh. All you can do is determine your goals, keep a positive attitude, seize any opportunities that the universe presents , and let the universe work its magic. :manny:

but does that mean your life sucks?
Naw, like you said, gotta stop comparing your life to others. That's EXTREMELY important especially in this social media age where everybody is flossin for the gram.

And besides, we've seen too many examples of rich and famous celebs going through depression and taking their own lives due to unhappiness.

To me, being content with what you DO have brings happiness.

Like J.Cole said:

Always gon' be a bigger house somewhere, but n1kka feel me
Long as the people in that motherfukker love you dearly
Always gon' be a whip that's better than the the one you got
Always gon' be some clothes that's fresher than the ones you rock
Always gon' be a bytch that's badder out there on the tours
But you ain't never gon' be happy till you love yours

nikka that's life. Nobody know's what the future holds. The only thing you can do is try to make your future the best you can with the time you have left. If your 30 and broke only thing you can try do is make sure at 31 your not broke. and so on and so on. I got a good friend whose mom went to jail in her late 20's. crackhead. 10 year bid, got out at 38 still didn't have her life together went back to college. graduated at 43 is 49 making 70k a year(i know this the coli and all but...) she could have easily given up on life. but she didn't no fate but what what we make.

My aunt did the same thing. She was a crackhead until like 40.

Once my grandmother developed Alzheimers and started to die, she cleaned herself up, went back to college, graduated and now she's doing well for herself.

Nikkas think their lives are over because they're not millionaires by 25. Life is a marathon. You gotta try really hard to mess it up. Set your goals. Work on them everyday. It's that simple.

The hardest thing about life is when you compare your life to other peoples. That's the worst thing you can do. Just because when I walk outside I don't see a helipad and the ocean, doesn't mean I've had a bad life. I think people get to caught up in comparing their lives to the lives of others.

I know that feeling of despair all too well breh:mjcry:

Instead of doing well in school and getting a good paying job after 4 years of college, I'll have to be in college for 6 years and there's a good possibility I might drop out :mjcry:

So many times I wonder why didn't I just study more for my classes. I could of been graduating this up coming year instead of in two years if at all. So many mistakes that are costing me years and thousands in debt all for nothing:mjcry:

But whether I drop out of college or not, I'm not gonna give up on my dream. I HAVE to fulfill my dream and make my parents proud and be a good role model for my little brother. Whether that means getting certs, starting a business, going back to school later, IM GON EAT. No matter what it takes I CANNOT GIVE UP. I refuse to become complacent and work in a factory for 30 years.

Stay strong breh. Never give up on your dreams. Even if you don't succeed at first, keep trying until you do. Give 100% and you'll never regret anything because YOU know the work you put in. :salute:
