It's interesting because in America, the children of African and Caribbean immigrants get absorbed into the African American culture and identity for the most part. Intermarriage rates with FBA and to a lesser extent non-Black people are very high.
I heard this is changing with more of them identifying with *their country of origin*-American. Not to mention the rise of the FBA/ADOS movement. I'm for both.

How is it 2025 and nikkas on getting progressively more stupid

:what:

I’ve never in my life met a black person in the Uk who was more than 2nd generation. @Kasgoinjail saying she 3rd gen which has to be extremely rare.

British slave colonies were in the Caribbean. There weren’t any black people in the Caribbean before slavery

Descendants from Britian Slavery would consist of people from the Caribbean.

Damn you need to read a history book. British captured Africans and the OP is probably referring to those descendants from the initial slave trade of 1562 onward.

These have to be rare cases though

5th generation would mean their great great great grandparents were immigrants in the 1800s
Yeah, so I mean kids being born now would be 5th generation. I have a cousin older than me that is 4th gen and I’m technically 3rd generation. She has kids that are 5th generation and they are teenagers now.

Windrush was in the 50s so it makes sense that we will be up to 5 generations now. Especially if ppl are having kids young.
