This tendency to sway the conversation away from black women, and their unique issues to try and prove their experiences wrong is another example of the type of privilege we have over black women when we have conversations like this. If you already have it made up in your mind what your feelings are about this topic then why create a thread about it, and argue against any comment that goes against your own personal beliefs? The black female experience isn't one I've had. It isn't one you've had, so my point is that we have to listen to black women when they talk about their issues because that respect is always extended to us from them. Blackness is maleness. We need to put effort into making these types of discussions more inclusive.
Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinda agree with this

No.

You need power to oppress someone. And ironically, the same black women who make this claim also say that black men have no power. How can you be oppressed by someone who's powerless? It's virtually impossible for black men to oppress black women.

Motha fukkas need to learn the difference between systematic oppression and interpersonal relationships.

and quite frankly the problem with these threads is alotta of you nikkas don't care about even fixing the problem. shyt you won't even hear the problem.

You just wanna preserve the feelings of Black males.

Same shyt we get on CACs for.

Truth hurts brehs. If you're fukking up you should want to be told and shoulder your share of the blame. Not play mental and linguistic gymnastics to dodge responsibility.

Music vids, Rap lyrics, domestic violence in the black community. Just off top.
music vids and rap lyrics are oppressing? how so? you do know they have the option not to listen, right?

black men are victims of DV at higher rates than any other race of men. not to mention, these ass whoopings dont fall out of the sky, like women would have us believe.
