Do black men protect black women ?

The thing I’ve realized with a lot of young women is that they what the freedom to do bad things but want everyone else to help clean it up later.

Not all women think like this obviously but enough do that I’ve noticed it.

I had a former friend who would date abusive or violent men and then she’d complain that no one was protecting her. Beating on women is foul but you get into a relationship with a known abuser and you complain that everyone else is the problem. Hell no. And this isn’t me griping on women cuz that sexist but I’m tired of this weird trend

We (Black men) are on constant eggshells and thin ice navigating this world day in and day out. You just said yall walked out of the job that day, right? Do you know how fukking hard it is to find a job in the first place? Think of every civil rights organization in history, whether it be created by a black man, like the Black Panther Party or created by a Black Woman like Black Lives Matter? Who is there supporting them the most? Their Brothers or sisters.

I hear you Sis. But I personally feel that industry has been created by preying black women’s neuroses. From Domestic Violence to colorism to IR dating. Society tells black women that the root of most of their issues is black men and that they are not at any fault eve. Is that true? Idk but it’s defintiely the common rhetoric amongst many black women internstionally in 2018. Even in Africa, women are on that black men are vile talk.

That’s cool but it confounds me. In Tommy curry’s book the Man-Not, he discusses how black men were the most prominent DV victims from 1979-1994 but no one discusses this. In fact, the CDC reported in 2015 that DV rates amongst men and women are generally the same. Why the lack of criticism for abusive women? Personally I think it is because their is money in pandering to women of all races. But that’s just my thought.

I think the story of the long suffering black woman who is the savior of humanity who is all by herself is a dangerous story that serves to alienate black women. Or I’m just a chauvinist
