Cancel Culture is this boogie monster which I find very similar with how most people feel about taxing wealthy people. They don't have a business and they’re not wealthy but the way they vote is because they see themselves in rich people shoes, even though it’s 99% chance they’ll never get there.

People worried about being cancelled like they’re celebrities or have a platform, but you’ll never be in that position and most times the person really being cancelled is a dirt bag. Cancel culture thrives on social media and a disproportionate amount of people worried they’ll be caught on that SummerJam screen doing some wild shyt when 99% its Karens and racist cacs.

Which is totally fine with to do. The problem comes in that some of society pretends as if they never took part or condone said activities in the first place when they call it out.

Case in point, the hypocrisy involving the media and Trump. They tried to wash their hands clean of him after the Capitol Riot situation without acknowledging the fact that they help spread and further his message for years in the name of ratings. They also tried to throw Fox News under the bus without calling out the part they help play in it as well.

It's hypocritical and even you'd know that. Accept responsibility for creating what transpired and say that you'll do better going forward. They won't even do that.

I don't care for cancel culture. I don't know what happened to if you don't like something or someone, turn the channel. Nope, nowadays the weak can't turn the channel, they need the subject of their offense de-platformed. The companies are the most disappointing because they capitulate to vocal minority on Twitter. I'm glad Netflix is standing their ground with Chappelle. Finally a company showed some balls.
