Do black people who are against “Cancel Culture” know they’re falling into a trap?

My point is that people should only cancel criminal activities and things to do some measurable harm, not just different opinions and bad words. If you want to call that picking and choosing, fine.

If that's the logic you want to operate on, then that's totally fine. Just make sure to keep that same consistency and not be offended if someone has a differing opinion or says offensive words. You don't and you'd be lying if you said that you did.

I find it funny to see nikkas complain about cancel culture, like those conservatives their grouping up with don't see us critizing a racist incident as being apart of "cancel culture" too.

People in this thread are being hypocritical without even realizing it.

The same people complaining are the same ones that be in those same threads talking about canceling said others as well.

The only problem I have with your notion is that it's a bit disingenuous to cancel something these days that you helped cheer on and promote years ago. It's why I have an issue with the media doing certain stories about "cancel culture" because they played a part in what transpired as well. You can even add the Trump situation to that example as well.

A lot of people would rather have revisionist history about the part that they played than accept any blame and responsibility for said actions.
Wtf are u talking about? Or is this just more contrarian shyt from u?

Clowns over here crying about not being able to call trehs "fags" anymore. But would piss their bed if a non black comedian/ especially white said "nikka".
What they really want is to join hands with white racists and hate on other groups whilst crossing their fingers and hoping they don’t turn on them eventually :mjlol:

Cancel Culture was created by conservatives.

The only people that actually get canceled by marginalized communities are internet message board members and regular people.

Rich and powerful people do not get canceled.

I appreciate it, but thats only the first part of my issue with the approach. I also don't approve of strong arming people into your movement. for example lets say i'm against Dave Chappelle. to me that means i don't support his comedy, i don't go to his shows, i don't watch his specials. Maybe i will even encourage others to do the same.
What that doesn't mean is that i am also against people that support Dave Chappelle and threaten to boycott them as well if they don't share my sensibilities. at that point you are now boycotting people for not boycotting people. thats stupid to me

Cancel culture only attacks black Americans typically ados

Cause we dont have no protection from anyone from gov to media

The lgbt community also attacks black straight men unfairly and is quiet on white men who abuse people

That why there not alot of support for them from us

We should support people who support us

Lgbt overall has not been that community

The part in bold is an outrageous lie :russ: Like we weren't born yesterday. Everyone remembers the treasure trove of white male media members and executives who got ran out the paint a couple of years ago. Don't sit here and lie cause you hate gays and like Bill Cosby and R Kelly. Going to jail for committing crimes isn't cancel culture either.

I get what you're saying, but it's still a hypocritical argument as it varies depending on the situation, person and whether you like them or not. I'm sure that I look your post history and find instances where you aren't keeping the same consistency in your logic.

That's my point. People are hypocrites and don't keep the same consistency.
