now i havent lived there in a long time, but i would disagree, georgia/atl fans are always loyal and down for their teams even when they suck
Georgia has a great legacy/history of both college and pro sports
I left back in '97, but the ATL always held it down, from Freaknik to the olympics to always supporting music and sports talent
plus there have been plenty of "allstar" caliber talent on the braves/hawks/falcons

This has been part of the problem. Too many Atlanta sports fans are happy with just getting to the playoffs or having a winning record. The teams won't do better until the fans become less complacent.
Atlanta is one of the only southern cities i'd live in.

I said this in the other thread: ATL should be a top destination for any pro athlete across the board no matter what sport or league. Beautiful homes for cheap, bad bytches galore, nightspots galore, decent weather, etc. Its a mystery too me
