Exactly the first year or two was waiting for greatness where you got cross gen multiplats , indies,the last of us which most had already played on PS3 and mediocre games.I typed three to six years breh.
I'm not in a rush to be on the next generation, but that's what their pushing for right now. They just had the pro released last year and xbox scorpio being released this year so you already looking at another 4 years, so why not 6-10 years?
On the plus side of things games looked and worked more better in the later years of each console cycle with developers doing better with the their software, engines, and the console hardware.
On the bad side of faster cycles, the pro and scorpio's release is proof of going faster for PC already.
Once I get a job I'll cop a PS4 with Crash bandicoot, Horizon, bloodbourne and uncharted 4 maybe some dope multiplats.
The PS4 started slow , in order for it to have a great library like the PS3 it has to last for 5 more years.
