It's probably just as relevant to see the question from a the other side. Is it important for women to fear their man? I think it is to some degree, but that the level of fear needed varies depending on how damaged she is. But as a woman you know that y'all will test a man's limit to see what you can get away with. If he has no boundaries you will walk all over him. For some, usually emotionally damaged women that boundary is willingness to get physical if need be, for others it's enough that he stands up for himself. You will not be with a man you don't have deep respect for unless you've made a conscious decision that you need him because of the biological clock or something. Respect comes from admiration or fear. Thus some submissiveness might be needed, not because I want it, I really don't, but because women seem want it. Coli women are the exception of course.

I don't believe in hitting women without a valid reason however there is nothing more disrespectful then a woman who knows you won't hit her at all. I'm not saying to hit her but as long as the threat is on the table and shr respects you nothing should happen
A healthy relationship has to be built on more than the implicit threat of violence. If the only thing keeping a woman "in line" and around is the threat of getting her ass beat, doesn't that mean the dude isn't shyt?

Some do, I dated one like that lol. I wasn't scared though which made him very angry because I gave him no reaction. He wanted a mute doormat and I wasn't that.

Afraid is a strong word and you can get 5 to 10 depending on the situation.

My thing is if she just ups and leaves anytime she wants without saying anything, ya doing something wrong.

I'd rather have respect that fear in a romantic relationship. I've been in a relationship before with a woman that was on that she needed to be checked all the time and wanted to be threatened with violence shyt. That's exhausting and not really me. The fact that I will bounce in that ass is enough for a female not to try me too much.

I ain't saying threaten her, I'm just saying women need to know that option is on the table, it's what stands between a healthy breakup and an unhealthy one where she's keying your car and acting a fool cuz she knows nothing will happen to her.
