A lot of what you guys think is Odd Future;s contributions are what regular kids do out here.

The whole skate boarders who also love hip hop and rap from time to time, hang out in a big group....that shyt isn't new or something they created.

That shyt ain't exclusive to LA either.
New York kids been on that same shyt too.
OF brought it to the forefront and had the most success with that shyt and that's a fact.

It's like the Migos flow.
Migos ain't create it but they did popularize it.

Certainly not exclusive to Southern California but skate culture very much is a product of out here first but I agree with what you are saying.

Pharrell actually did the Hip Hop/Skater thing better before Odd Future and you can tell Tyler's entire life is just a little kid carbon copy of him. I wouldn't even give them very much credit at all. No hate.

As a former Pharell stan I can say you're 100% correct.
But I do think a combination of Lil B and OF has a lot to do with all these new weirdo rap nikkas.

id say tyler, earl and hodgy had young rappers trying to spit bars just like them,, edgy horrorcoreish punch line rap

sure, odd futures styles are a branch off of other people like pharell,nerd, mf doom, eminem etc etc but people did try to emulate and i noticed it was more young rappers that did it , yeah they never had the likes of jay z trying to rap like them but their was a period when people tried to do what they did
