Well the point is to convey it isn't unreasonable to ask for something for our vote. We as Black folks it seems aren't expected to ask so it's almost rhetorical

yall supposed to be voting in the primaries for the people who will advance your causes in the party, and voting for the party in the national election.
the primaries are how you get your tangibles. the national election is how we dont wind up in interment camps
