When Kanye dropped MBDTF, it was average but since the beats were experimental it was view as some sort of too genius to be comprehend by simple folks, like it would take 10 years to realize the brilliance of the shyt.

Been saying this FOREVER. Just because the beats on an album are experimental in nature doesn’t make it a “masterpiece” or "over your head" (see, “Watch The Throne”).

I remember when people shyt on 9th Wonder because he DARED to say that he wasn’t feeling the beats on WTT…you had a bunch of clowns going in on him on some “nobody wants to hear that sped-up soul sample loop shyt anymore” shyt, simply for voicing an opinion that A LOT of other people agreed with.

It might be, Diddy is the richest man in Hip Hop and he doesn't nearly get as much hate as Jay & Kanye do.

I like that fact that Diddy showed up the video of the Ballin' remix. Jay would never hop on a track with a bunch of C list rappers (Exception of T.I who is a A list rapper IMO).

Diddy seems more down to earth than Jay does.

Jay shytted on 98% percent of his fanbase with that line "your money too short can't be talking to me " Kelis is rich and her money is too short to talk to him, which is as most of Jay's fanbase is average joes, working class people who only have thousands in the bank at most.

Kanye is not as bad as Jay IMO, dude does songs with Charlie Wilson and Marsha Ambrious and stood up for New Orleans on national TV after it got ethered by Hurricane Katrina.

I'm biased but, you can't compare the organic collabo that Nas and Damien put out to the contrived, mass marketed, and souless mess that was WTT.

sorry ,but nas/Marley and wtt both were horrifically horrible.
if you know both the genre's of music the rappers, nas and jay/ye both failed in epic fashion to make.

Only person who made quality out of the four performers on those collab albums was Damien Marley.
Who at this point, could not carry nas.
Who was equally just as horrible if not more horrible then jay and ye on wtt.
