Ya rosenberg is a total tool. Thinks he's a hip hop god cuz he works at a shytty radio station. Kids just a nerd, straight up. He thinks he's friends with all these artists. Like Naw dude. They just promoting the music. Ebro and rosenberg are like the ricki lake show on radio.

That guy that owns The Source gave him that reality check when he told Rosenberg that Ricky Smiley is more HIP-HOP than him.

I take them as serious as I would anyone else I guess. I think they are knowledgable and know the people they are talking to, to some degree.

Now do I think they are some type of gospel or taste maker? Nah. I do think they have some solid interviews though. From the few I've seen.

Rosenberg is funny when he tries to critique street bars..he tried to nitpick Jada's WHY to point out a line that didnt fit and he called him out for the hood mj line but thats one of the realest bars on the whole song.

Rosenberg doesnt matter in hip hop period. He's not relevant other than as a radio personality. Hes one of the few ny hip hop radio personalities that have nothing but hosting credits for events to their name. Not a trendsetter not a tastemaker and has a limited scope and perspective for hip hop.

And he seems stuck in the times too....like he hasnt moved on from 1994-2003

People might talk shyt on Funk flex...but he has established his legacy from his 60 minutes of funk mixtapes to appearances on radio, tv, and music videos. That was befoe he became a g-unit hypeman.

fukk them both, but rosenberg is really bad. plus he looks like george zimmerman to me.

i went through a period where i didnt miss a breakfast club interview for like a couple years, but they got boring after a while too. now i only check them if i hear about something crazy going down.

sway does the best interviews when people do their media tours tbh.

Ebro and Rosenberg are garbage. Ebro appears to be an aloof idiot and Rosenberg talks as if he is Rick Ruben or Russell Simmons or some shyt...he is obviously not a no name but the way he talks you would think he's rubbed shoulders with hip hops elite for 20+ years or so.

Ive only watched 2 full interviews the recent Khaled one (which was trash but all carried by Khaled) they didnt ask any good questions they just let him run the show. The other one was 30 minutes or so but They spent like 27 mins thanking whoever it was for coming. "Thanks for comin out man, really appreciate it" "Hey man I appreciate you making it here, it's been a while" "It's an honor to have you" "What's the new album about" "Its dope that you came in to do this interview today"

I don't mind Ebro, he's an alright dude and does good interviews when he cares. His superiority act is tired though. Being upfront about the bullshyt politics of radio and the industry doesn't make you any better than anyone else when you're still towing the line for a check at the end of the day.

Rosiebytch gets on my fukking nerves though, pretentious balding white douche. His interviews are nothing but cringe and his K Dot fan girling is embarrassing. I don't like Laura Styles either, she brings nothing to the table interview or commentary wise and she's ugly too.:yeshrug:

Really everyone on the station is either old af, out of touch, and/or has no business still working there. That Nessa chick is horrible and Flex should have retired a long ass time ago, the man is washed.

Rosenberg is like 40 and has the same knowledge as a 18 year old white boy. Talking about just getting into De La soul at 35 and calling yourself a hiphop "nerd" :snoop:. Not understanding a single bar from wu-tang until he met Cypha and on.

As far as hiphop goes, I have no respect for them. The only one I respect is CTG. Being a radio host on a hiphop station has nothing to do with you being a hiphop head. And you can still be a good host with limited knowledge, but their opinions get left in the bushes.

Rosenberg is a hipster trying too hard, he's like fukking Peggy Hill when he discovers shyt, acting like it's new, then turns around like he already knew shyt.

Nessa ain't on the morning show and Ciph wasn't very good.

I don't always agree with Rosenberg but he's definitely passionate about the music.

THe breakfast club is fun but not to be taken seriously at all really when it comes to musical convo
