Yes but you don't notice how bad. Since I quit smoking cigs I find that it's WAY more noticeable. Like my nose has developed an extra sensitivity to cigarette smoke.
I just quit smoking. On day 6 now

You're not out of the ass-smelling woods just yet:
Take the amount of time you've been smoking (x) and divide it by half...and that's how long you need to go without smoking in order for you not to smell like a human-tar-pit.

LMAO....I was a victim of my stepdad's second-hands smoking in HS...didn't realize it till some hottie in class was like "you must smoke a lot" meanwhile, I never was a cigarette smoker.
But Nah, Im just messing...wash all clothes and cloth material that was exposed to your smoke though.
Same here worst experience. She got dumped cuz of that. But it seems to be only cigarette smoke. I used to smoke from like, my 15th till I was 17, only after I really noticed the smell the worst is when a girl smokes and you get in the shower with her, the smell is even worse in their hair
propably in my own hair too at the time though...
Now I have two roommates, one smokes tobacco, me and the other guy smoke joints, well I quit smoking anything since a day now, I'm already starting to regret having the top floor, didn't even notice the smell before that, so once you stop smoking anything you'll notice it almost right away.

To this who still smoke, please understand the purpose of this thread isn't to be demeaning in any way. I just don't think you folks understand how strong your nicotine laced body odor is and how hard it is for people to be anywhere near you with this stench always on you. You think you are making it with cologne and perfumes, well you're not. Sometimes it even makes it worse. If you got a girl, hug that brawd and hang onto her forever because she must really love you too put up with it. At the same time do her and yourself a favor and take steps toward quitting.

Went to a bar last night. Mofos smoking all over the place. No biggie, right.
Go home. Today I had to attend a community meeting and I drove there and I put on the ski cap I had on last night at the bar.

Nah, they don't.
I smoked before, and could barely smell it until about 5 hours later, and it was mostly the two fingers I held it between.
My friend chain-smokes and won't even notice it, you have to tell him he stinks.

Look at any old issue of Ebony and probably Jet too on Google Books. It's hilarious how hard they pushed cigarettes. My mind was blown the first time I looked at one of those old issues. Every 3 pages was a cigarette ad.
As far as OP, I smoked for a good 6 years and it's been a good 8 since I stopped....it depletes the nose hairs I believe. This also affects how food tastes. Once I quit, smells came back rich as hell, probably even better than before and food tasted much better. shyt was/is whack. I suggest noone get started but it was a part of my growing up into adulthood.
