my mothers husband moved in when i was 13, never had any problems, if anything i benefited cause without him we would never have gotten the internet

I think around 13-16 every make going thru puberty is going to try and fight their father(sometimes) or stepfather, what ever male is in the house. UNLESS that male has already established clear dominance.

Yeah, my dad and sister are literally best friends. When he gives me $100, she gets $100 too. If she needs him to fix something or mount a tv to wall, he does it.

The men doing whatever the right way don't get a tenth of the coverage as those making public mistakes. Fathers, husbands, mentors, teachers, coaches, whatever. It's on the rest of us to take notice and have more balance to the entire picture.

My grandpa
He not my biological. Both him and my grandma had kids from previous marriages and didnt have any together. He took in my mom and uncle and raised them as if they were his own. He was a real dude too no cap. I got a lot of love for that man. He looked out for so many people in my family you thought they were related.
I get how a stepfather can play a pivotal role in a child's life but that varies from situation to situation. A lot of factors come into play and idk if too many folks nowadays are built for that; parents, stepparents and kids.
