what are the tiers to this fighting game shyt?

if I were to guess in terms of pure depth virtua fighter should be at the top. SF gets love because of its influence & history (so does MK to a lesser extent)

not sure where fighters like tekken, DOA and soulcalibur stand

I think MK has more "respect" now than it did in the 90s and 00s. MKX is legitimately a great fighting game. But in the 90s with SF vs MK, is was a wash. MK was garbage compared to SF.

So to answer your question, I don't think SF fans look down on it like they used to.
