Why would that turn me off?

Now if she's the type to constantly talk about how successful she is and literally has nothing else to talk about then yes. Because that's boring and annoying.

I'm attracted to successful and driven women, but there IS a limit to how independent I can handle. She just needs to defer to me in some areas and not disrespect me. It's possible to have a balance :yeshrug:

I think people put too much thought and prestige on women with careers, as long as she can cook, is polite and a humble person that's perfect for me.
To quote Bomani Jones; a lot guys literally got one thing going for them--they have a penis and ppl generally use that to assume you know more than a woman.
