First off, I'm not being in any spot I could not easily pay 100%. Depending on my girl to maintain is against my personal code.
Asking my girl to pay half the rent though wouldn't sit well with me as most women aren't as paid as we are. However, paying everything because "I'm the man" is absolutely retarded. There's zero masculinity in having ANY grown ass adult leech off you. I'm more of the 75/25% type -- she's a grown adult, so she should contribute monetarily in some way. Period. If a girl is 25+ years old has issues with paying 25% of $2000 (total house expenses) then shes a bird and should be discarded.

I'll get the rent/insurance, she can have the amenities (cable/internet, power, etc.). An arrangement like that is probably what I'd like.

I can't speak for everyone, but a lot of black men had to move mountains securing a reliable car, their own place, and a good job, especially after 2008's great recession, all the while not being able to date decent women. Meanwhile, women didn't skip a beat in their dating life during horrible economic times. When you know what it takes to finally "have it together" and live your best life, you don't want to give someone a free ride who put in zero work. That's partially why upperclass men only date upperclass women. However, if a woman has my kids, it's probably best for her to stay home and take care of them.

Btw, you women working part time retail/fast food bringing in pennies need to date men in similar situations. If you're selling ass, nudes, etc. that's not going to work either.
