True story, I was having a convo with this Asian kid at one of my old jobs when I was in my early 20’s.
Most of us there was Black, we was discussing Yu Yu Hakusho or something, one of the other Black people heard us then the next thing I know it’s like 8 of us discussing Shounen 7 of which were Black.

Like we did normal kid shyt... Played basketball in the front yard, flayed football in the street, running/racing to see who's fastest, wrestling on the trampoline in the background, playing mario kart all night until the morning, etc..
But when DBZ came on we stopped everything to watch that shyt everyday. That and wrestling..
In fact, I would say wrestling is worse than Anime.. Atleast now it is. Them dudes probably still get p*ssy too
Then my ex was the one who put me on to anime again.
