It depends on the rapper. I mean frfr rap as a format has more going on verbally than any other genre. Country, pop, rock, basically anything thats not rap has bare minimum lyrics. Yeah some bands may have paragraphs worth of lyrics but dem shyts dont even rhyme a majority of the time. So i can see why rappers wouldn't want to spit 48 bars plus a hook for every song.
