I agree Cam was never as much of a killer i guess you could say as Tru, he was a street dude but not on that level, certainly not at this point in his life, for him to risk dumb shiit unless he had the money like you said but Cam aint caked up to THAT level.

And Jay is pussssy when it comes to battles. He picks an choses, I think Jay wouldve never directly went at Nas if he expected anything close to Ether, I think he believed the hype that Nas fell off and figured just like Prodigy had fallen off , that it would be an easy W
But the thing I dont like about Jay is hes a hypocrite, he wasnt even signed, didnt even have a record out, and he was going to battle LL Cool J, the biggest star rap had ever seen at the time and LL actually battled him, he wasnt on some pusssy shiit
But now Jay ducking nigggas that have went platinum before on some "they not on my level" Im not saying he gotta respond to everyone, shiiit he shouldve never responded to Meeno. And even picking Jim Jones over Cam was calculated cause he figured Jim wasnt on his level of rhyming, like you said he wanted to kill his buzz, he really thought his lame diss was gonna replace Jims version of balling and make everyone forget the real song but it didnt work that shyt flopped.
But bottom line Jay scared to go at anybody if he thinks theres a chance he could lose
