Do y'all think Lauri Markannen has higher offensive potential than KP?

KP has an unguardable shot and can somewhat defend the rim. I don't know if KP an get stronger to eal with all the banging his body will take.

Markannen is sturdier and more athletic. There is no reason why he can't be a good defender.

I'd take KP because he feels more like a championship player.

I don’t know about that. Porzingis has so many moves to choose from it’s tough to see Lauri doing that.

Porzingis can shoot it from anywhere and still has a very good post-game.

Not sure, don't see it.

Right now Lauri's been a pretty efficient player but most of his points come off of spot ups and pick-and-roll. KP has been put in a position where he has to create his own offense, something we haven't seen Lauri really do.

What makes KP special right now is that most of his offense he creates for himself is off of one move, his turnaround over smaller players. The fact that he can get 25-30 a night just doing that makes his ceiling scary. IF he can add counters to that, like a faceup game or up-and-under, he'll really be unstoppable on offense.

I know Lauri was really efficient in college inside and outside, but we'll see what happens when he's tasked with catching the ball in the high post and told to fight off double teams and score the basketball.
