Even merked Iron Mike “Heard that convicted rapist on the record, too (uh-huh)
Fresh out of jail, asscheeks still black and blue (uh-huh! ooooh!)
Tell me 'bout the things Ear-Biter taught you
How to bust a nut or two? (Yeah, that's butter, boo)” :mjlol::russ:
I’m surprised Tyson didn’t come beat LL’s ass after that line

I thought it was an even battle. Impact matters in battles. 2nd Round KO was like Ether to me in that it gained extra credit just for the shock factor. For Canibus word had spread about LLs diss and most probably expected some verse on his album or something but he dropped his response as a single and came hard as hell at him. Add on the ridiculous momentum Canibus already had and it was the perfect combo.

LL came back strong as fukk but that was expected. But the diss didn’t hit with the same impact. It wasn’t packaged as a single with a video but was instead part of a bonus disc for another artist’s album. As a diss it was a great counter and showed LL was still a beast.

I call it even because after LL’s diss the beef had benefitted both careers. Both were great diss tracks and served their purpose. LL’s reestablished as a top battler and Canibus career was set up perfectly for him to come in and kill shyt. He just fukked it up with that weak first album.

Goddamn, This the funniest shyt I ever seen in my life, and the saddest shyt at the same time.

This nikka brought Canibus out has a prop in the own diss song against him, goddamn, can't nobody say Canibus won a goddamn thing, got damn, this man snatched Canibus' fukking soul, no wonder Canibus voice changed and all the confidence was gone.

LL bullying this man, sheesh, LL lyrics had me rolling because with Canibus right there looking so pitiful, it's like damn, he said he was gonna do this to you

goddamn LL gotta be the GOAT battle rapper after this, damn
Damn this shyt made me cringe. Add on him putting his arm around him and looks at him as he says “you don’t want to battle shorty you want to socialize”. LL is a fukking a$$hole lol.

And LL’s reason for going at Canibus was so fukkin lame. He was offended by Bus saying “you L let me borrow that mic off your arm”?

I mean did LL really sit down and think about that? Is it more likely this kid is trying to disrespect me OR is it likely he is in awe at being on a record with one of the greatest rappers of all time and he’s just being witty and showing love?:jbhmm:
Nah. It’s legit LL was offended. LL is just an overly ultra competitive person, like a rap version of Michael Jordan. Watch in his interviews when anybody even makes it SEEM like they could be slighting him or his work and LL low key loses it, even when he’s clearly trying to uphold his image for the cameras.

LL won because Canibus was supposedly next up and everyone thought Cool J would get washed.Canibus’s wack debut album made it worst too.

everything about that album was a disappointment.........even down to the cover.....

at that point in his career he could've drafted in some big producers......instead he was messing about with Wyclef and his cousin.....

Anybody saying LL won either wasn't there...or just ran with that bullshyt because Hot 97 and Def Jam tried their best to convince you that LL's response was up to par, lol, which was laughable. Canibus smoked this man's boots and it wasn't even close...and I love L, pause.

Split decision to LL

I feel the beat carried the song. The energy was better than the actual diss.

It's like Back to Back by Drake. It's not that good of a diss but the energy was there. It was the right track at the right time.
