AD getting a little overrated imo. Great player no doubt, definitely top 10, but he still doesn't make anyone else better, gets tons of easy buckets from his guards and the offense, and his teams underperform throughout his career.

I'm not going to say Embiid is currently better than him, but he's a better defender, passer, makes everyone else better, leads his teams to outperforming expectations, and has to create almost everything he gets. I just don't see AD as being in another league rn amongst the bigs.

He's still developing though, still hasn't reached his ceiling which is crazy.

Hell
1 bron
2 kd
3 kawhi
4 AD
5 curry
6 harden

I got

1. Bron
2. Kawhi
3. Durant
4. AD
5. Curry
6. Harden

I think curry's spacing affects defenses more, he doesn't need to ball to be a threat

I got Kawhi at 2 cuz remember he had the spurs up 25 against the warriors in the playoffs last year with no duncan and alridge.

I don't know about AD cuz the team isn't that good yet, he may be 1 if he's on a better coached team.

I got a hard time ranking Kawhi since he didn’t play and we don’t know if he’s affected by that injury or not. Outside of that can’t really disagree with the list.

AD "makes no one better" while "Embiid outperforms all expectations" by getting dusted by Aron Baynes and Al Horford in 5 games, while AD swept the 3rd seed in the west and took more games off the Warriors than LeBron James did, all while missing his team's 2nd best player. :mjlol:

AD is a better scorer, rebounder, shotblocker, ball stealer, shooter from midrange, shooter from distance, and literally every facet of basketball besides inefficient isolation postups than Embiid. AD was top 3 in MVP and DPOY voting, #1 in blocks, top 5 in RPG, #2 in PPG, #2 in playoff PPG behind only LeBron, and #1 in playoff RPG AND BPG. Just because he isn't fat like Joel and i sa pertinent lob threat doesn't mean AD hasn't been creating nearly everything for himself production wise and does nearly everything defensively for his team. If Embiid made everyone so much better like you're claiming he wouldn't have lost in 5 to a team missing it's 2 best players and half it's payroll. :stopitslime:

AD is top 4 at the bare minimum; Joel is fringe top 10 at the very best, and belongs nowhere near AD or anyone potentially above him like Bron, KD, etc.

Portland was like 1 game better than the Pelis, Dame shytted the bed, and Jrue dusted their asses :usure:

Embiid was coming back rusty with a mask on against the best defensive team in the NBA game planned for him :what: that team took the Cavs to 7 despite not being nearly as hot from the perimeter as they were against the Sixers

AD's efficiency and buckets deserves a lot of credit from the guards that feed him everything. 44% of Embiid's 2s are assisted compared to 70% of AD's.

I'm not saying Embiid is better than AD right now, but AD certainly isn't in some other tier
