Well said. hear, hear. Dating is competitive and people do think they deserve the best which makes attracting people with advanced college degrees meaningful.

Think about it like sports, the good players always want to be on the same team. Yeah, they can play with average players, but they're going to link up with the players they think are the best because they want to win. When people are picking teams there are always people that get picked last. It's because the people who are picking don't see them as good enough to win the game.

It happens in nature too. The females want to mate with the best male available. It's survival.

Exactly!!!...Could not have said that any better...!!!:salute:

Everywhere...You never there.
Degree's are a low indicator of holistic value. You know how many dummies I know with master's? Literally no critical thinking skills at all.

However, a degree is one of those age old, glaring conventional indicators of some measure of work ethic, stick-to-itiveness and ambition. But if you base your mate choice solely on a degree from the average public/private university, PWI or HBCU, then

It's fascinating to consider. If you do what's the highest level of education a romantic partner you've had has earned?

Don't sleep on this thread. shyt is about to get real.
I mean... doesnt nearly everyone have a college degree these days? :yeshrug:
I cant think of anyone i hang with or met in the past 5-10 years that doesnt at least have a bachelors. Like most of the women i meet tend to be far more educated than me having Masters and PHDs (or working on it) while i only have an AS in electrical engineering and a BS in Telecom and Electrical Engineering

Ive gotten to the point where I assume everyone has at least a Bachelors.

Yeah but they all know each other by at most 2 degrees of separation. The black advanced degree world is small.

My fiance is a lawyer.
