Breh, you need to get out more. The doctrine of original sin as it is understood in the West was developed quite some years after the Biblical texts were written, and almost entirely in the West. That is why the Eastern church, including the original African churches, does not preach the doctrine at all and never has.
I think we always need to be careful with dogma that far outstrips its Biblical basis. When talking about how we should act, we need to really hash things out and be sure on our foundations. But when talking about more hypothetical things such as the nature of the Trinity or the meaning of Original Sin, you end up talking a lot more about Latin/Greek intellectual reasoning than anything certainly from God.
