They do exist but they're very few black indians. We often focus on the transatlantic slave trade, but the arabs were running a much longer term opperation sending africans to the arabian peninsula, iran, Indonesia, and India.
I personally wasn't aware of it until I got a recommendation from one of John Henrik Clarke's old speeches from the 90s. In that speech he recommended a historian named j a Rogers. Rogers has a book titled "great men of color" that was published in 1946. There was a section in there devoted to the east African slaves that were sent to India. Some of them were freed and then mixed in with the hindu populations. But others like Malik Ambar killed their masters and then took over whole Indian kingdoms.

You don't get much blacker than ethiopia. I like to think that Ambar's achievements would have been the ideal situation for Dessaline in Haiti, if they had not been on an island. His story honestly needs to be a movie.
So presumably Ambar's descendants and the descendants of all the eastern slave trade victims are still in India. Personally , the only reason I would ever want to go to India is to visit this Breh's tomb. It looks awesome and it's still preserved because he ended up being a pretty good leader
