i thought so...but while watching it this weekend, my white roommate came in and was like "oh shyt! sister act 2! i love this movie!"

No. It's an 'Urban Inner-City Community' movie due to the message of multi-ethnic unity contained in it.

'Black' women in their late 30's to mid-40's love it, though, because the kids remind them of their own.

I just wish they'd have done an entire single of the kids battling for the soundtrack......

The first movie was just a comedy created by a white dude. Not a "black" movie
What throws me off for part 2 is Bill Duke directed that
