The '96 Bulls weren't a super team either šŸ¤”

come on now, any team that can win 70 games is a super team. Only two teams have done it, its about more than "who was an all star". The two teams that did it were built with personnel unique to that season, to dominate at a historic level...

22 other teams won the equivalent of 65 games or more, I'd go as far as to say most of those teams were super teams...

No, but this was the season in which their dynasty era began.

I just find it funny how this team doesn't get talked about enough for being one of the biggest failures of all time in the history of sports. It feels like it's forgotten or rarely mentioned, people just gloss over the fact that they choked and shyt the bed.

Maybe because Curry is a fan favorite, people cut him slack, but any other guy in his shoes leading that team and failing in the fashion that they did would have a major blight on their career resume.

Honestly to me OKC was a tougher team to deal with that year than the Warriors were

I think we beat Golden State in 16 but peak KD and Russ were a muthafukka :beli:

They were at minimum a top ten championship team of the last twenty five years adding KD they became all time.

Think about how deep the league is and they basically cut through the league like butter

Steph, Klay, draymond,Kerr, and Iggy are HOF and KD

Nah. That team's core was all drafted there and developed together organically. A supertream to me is when already established stars on separate teams decide to get together (or via trade).

Exactly. (I would add get together during their prime, but that's kind of obvious).

Honestly no, they caught lightning in a bottle and took advantage. I do think that 2016 warrior team would win 73 today as well

Nah just a deep team with with an ahead of its time offensive system. Steph was a superstar, klay was an elite 3&D all star, and draymond was problay one of goat Swiss ary knives playing a unique brand of basketball at the time. They performed like a superteam but the the roster doesn't justify that label because superteams refer to teams with multiple superstars in my opinion
