I choose elf sometimes because I want someone with pointy ears. Orc comes second because their teeth are annoying to look at sometimes. I almost never choose a dwarf because they're too funny looking to me. The Benny Hill theme plays in my head whenever I see a dwarf running. I can't take them seriously by any stretch.

I almost always make a female character. Imagine watching a dude run around for dozens of hours.

Hell nawll. Not since I realized I had been conditioned by the media to idolize white people...I'm a black artist...why the Fck am I drawing all made up Caucasian superheroes ...

When I make original characters now, I got every race you can think of...but for my own personal video game characters they usually look like me (Black)

I played a Drow in my main BG3 playthrough because they seemed to be the nikkas of their universe if that makes any sense. I described them as the nikka elves to a friend when he was starting the game and asked me what race I picked. (Neither of us are DnD guys) He knew exactly what I meant when he found them in the menu lol.

When I was younger I used to make human most times and try to make myself. Now I kind of pic anything that's human like but cool.
So like a human with a tail or whatever

But not like full-fledged lizard people or cats, or aliens and stuff. Never saw the appeal to play as them but I definitely like having them in the game world.

He's talking about fictional races, like do you play as an Orc, Dwarf, or Elf instead of just Human. Really they should be called species instead of races. because there are races within each of those groups. You can be an asian Dwarf. or a Black Elf
