Do you ever feel like you missed a part of the Black experience by not attending an HBCU?

I'm in the minority but my hbcu didnt leave a great impression on me. I originally went to UNC-Greensboro on a basketball scholarship but after my first year the coach got fired and I transferred to saint Augustine college in raleigh, nc.

The school was fun but it was some what in the hood and they pretty much accepted everyone. Multiple break ins, the higher ups stayed messing with people's money, and the bball coach was on some other ish...I made the best of it because there were other schools around that I would go party at and just chill. If i wasnt a basketball player i would have been disappointed that i transferred there after being at unc-g... but that's me

It would of been so awesome.
To be around fellow brothers and sisters that were intelligent and have bright futures for them. I like people like that, no need to be around rabble rousing knuckle heads all the time you know?
I would've love the experience if it had happened for me.

Went to a happy hour yesterday to visit an old friend. She was cool but everybody else was tryna give me the Carlton treatment like I wasn't black enough cause i didn't go to an HBCU.

:snoop:

I got the fukk outta there after like 10 mins.
