what does it matter the thread title states "Do you feel like"......
Then nikkas tryna argue u down bout how u feel.....
Been a Wayne fan for 20 yrs dog......to me hands down nikka Top 10.....nikka Top 5

Me and Bro often had this debate....but this nikka was debating Lil Flip vs Lil Wayne....:stopitslime:

i dont even debate on Wayne at this point......if nikkas cant see what he did to the game...
i guess yall nikkas really been on the internet for the last 20 yrs........if been outside...in the last 20 yrs
u know the boy Wayne done his thang.....

Ive said in this thread that Wayne is the most influential southern artist of all time. Im talking strictly music. Going by your standards gucci better be in your top 5 from the South

even back in his hot boys days he was spitting but yeah he only got better with time.
You really are a student of hip hop.

I admire and look forward to your threads & input.

Not a lot of real hip hop heads left on here.

It hurt my heart yesterday when @CrimsonTider said "I'm glad im not a hip hop head"

He's definitely top 10 from the South but not number 1. And I don't know why dudes is laughing at KRIT being a better artist because he is. His music has substance and replay value. Wayne, while an amazing rapper at his peak, doesn't have a lot of material I can go back and play like that.

Once you've heard the punchlines so many times, you realize his work has no depth. Not a lot of hidden gems, themes or messages to take from the music after you've heard it a few times.

That's why the greats like Pac, Nas, Jay, etc all can be played to this day. There are life lessons in the music. Wayne style was all flare. He had his moments on C1 and C2 but he generally is a punchline rapper.

If C1 or even C2 is considered wayne's best work than dude is definitely overrated :francis:

Jeezy has TM101 & the ressesion

TI has trap music, king, urban legend

Ross has deeper than rap, Teflon don & rich forever hell even black market or black dollar

Face has the fix, Mr scarface is back, untouchable, my homies plus the work he did with the geto boys

Wayne has a ton of classic verses & songs but he never put out album's that were even close to those dudes albums or catalogues

Only dudes that was mid teens or early 20's when wayne was at his peak think otherwise :camby:

With all that being said

Face
Ross
Jeezy
TI
Wayne

All are gods of the south & top 5 all time worthy to me they all had long runs they all have quality bodies of work and they all had impacts

:what: does lauryn hill have to do with this?

Dude said that the amount of music wayne has put out should automatically put him over people(not his exact words but how i interrupted what he said) but i feel like that's part of the point I'm trying to make. He has alot of music but to me alot of is just "ok" . to help with my point lauryn hill and biggie have limited quantity of music in their catalogs but i respect their catalogs more because of the quality. Thats where she comes in at, that post was for him not everyone

But its not by my standards...........and the case file u pulled is flawed......cuz same with my bro.....we used to debate Gucci vs Wayne

now for me Gucci has over 1,000,000 songs.........and personal i only like 1.........shyt happens.....
Gucci gets no play with me....no rotation....no rewinds....no runbacks....shyt nikka cant even request Gucci in my shyt....
its 2 nikkas who get no play whatsoever...... thats Big Guwop and 50......but i hear nikkas all the time put Gucci up there...
that nikka is str8.........trash-can-man wit the raps......

Having a discussion with my brother and potnas about this and i just can't see it. Aside from his influence and popularity to me Wayne is overrated. I know for sure I'm putting outkast, ti, cee lo, scarface, killer mike, ugk over him. I would strongly have 2 think about juve, luda, trick and few others. What yall think?

:mjlol: Breh he def makes that list. He might be #1 :yeshrug:

He a top 10 rapper of all time fam
