NBA fandom relies heavily on stans, the attention Warriors got was a lot from Curry stans and also the elite offensive system.

OKC is a defensive team first, then offense. SGA also doesn't have the stans for the level of player he is. Most of his stans are twitter teenagers from Canada. Casuals really don't care about him like that.

None of this matters in the end, I think they will get more appreciation when they get it done rather than during the journey.
