Do you guys get the recommended car maintenance when it's needed?

do you mean car service plan?
if you mean that then,yes, i drive about 160 km to another town to get it.
far cheaper that way even when i include the diesel i waste on the trip back and forth.

Oil change and transmission fluid, yeah.

As far as getting my tires rotated and shyt like that, mostly only when there's an issue.

Your tires will last longer if you have them rotated when doing the oil changes because they'll wear more evenly. It doesn't add much to the price of the oil change ($0 - $20) so might as well have it done. Now if you change your own oil, rotating tires can definitely be a lot of extra work if you don't have the proper stands and an impact wrench. Then again, anyone who changes their own oil probably knows all that.

I think car maintenance is and should be (from what I remember) pretty affordable based on the car. Cheaper cars require cheaper gas, tires, oil changes, etc.

Don’t chance it with your car. You need it

And that's just the oil change itself, not including whatever other services you get with it.

Lol to be fair it’s not just an oil change

I pay about 900-1400 every 12000 miles for an oil flush, freon for the AC, all the fluids, plugs and belts if they need repair and lights... not too bad honestly

Not including the “service” you pull in and based on the car and reservation they walk up and know your name, offer you coffee or water or whatever, clean building, any concerns you can tell the salesperson and they might be able to add it into the service, rental car for the day, they wash the car and vacuum the inside etc.

Yes.....proper maintenance on your vehicle extends the useful life of the vehicle

Proper maintenance and you can literally drive a car for decades

I get emails/mail when it's almost time for service. My car will also alert me via a message on the dash when I need something done.
