I Always looked at E-40 as the west coast version of Ghostface

A lot of brehs especially outside of up North don't rock with Ghost
because they just didn't understand or rock with his style

I put E-40 in that same category

I attended a music festival here in Atlanta a couple of years ago and when he came on the stage the audience looked like it was about 50% Mexican. They seem to fukk with his music heavy

Oh, the semi-annual e-40 hate thread :russell:

Yes, 40 is an acquired taste, I can't even really fukk with him for an entire album, but when he's spittin that real game, shyt is fly. :ld: and like someone else already said, in a major way is classic and 1/4 of the slang y'all spit came from him. 20+ years later and we still talking about nikkas savin broads :cape:

Not a fan. But his music is best for the clubs.

His last few triple albums are like that but the majority of his music is made to be marinated on, that Poverty and Prosperity EP he just put out last year was definitely not "for the clubs".

I can't marinate to his music playa. Style too unorthodox for me:francis:
