There are Black people there.

There were more Black people there when I left before college.

Are there large populations of black ppl in Wyoming, the Dakotas, Iowa, Oklahoma, New Hampshire, etc.? I was in New Hampshire last October and barely saw any black people. All the white populations in those states add up to a significant amount.

By nothern do you mean mountain states or the north east?

And to be fair, if you are talking about mountain states, alot of those have small ass populations. States like Wyoming and North Dakota have less than a million people total.

I just think that 12% is too low since not only are black people everywhere, but we're the only race(other than cacs) that have been in America since its inception.
