This is what I'm talking about. Aside from the conscious stuff, Malice had that clever, smooth arrogance

His verse on this still gives me the chills....

"Malice he think he hard, tough guy of the click
And Pusha he walk around like he swear he the shyt
You right on both counts bytch, Clipse is us
And there's a couple things that you don't discuss"

"I tried being humble, Humble get no respect
Now the first sign of trouble, that's a hole up in yo neck
But what I look like spending my nights in jail
I could never be a thug, they don't dress this well"

:whoo::wow:

man that song just the truth about Va. Every summer, we would visit my grandmom in Portsmouth. Just playing in the backyard. Bored as hell. Then living in chesapeake for a few years. That line IM from virginia where ain't shyt to do but cook. man, that line is just 100 percent truth.

First time I saw it on Rap City (a couple months before it blew up) I was legit stunned like :dwillhuh:. I'm not even sure what I thought was so wild, it was just some extra raw shyt. 2 midnight black brehs sitting on the kitchen counter spitting the rawest shyt ever over the rawest simplest beat ever

Bought the album first day and been a fan ever since

It was a little deeper than that as it progressed. They started playing on the whole kane and able thing... Started to get reflective as they started to see their people go to prison. For malice especially. They went on a solid run.

I should probably check out that lord willin lp

The first time I heard it I had to just got home from school and turned the tv to Rap City, and when that beat came on and Pusha spit that first verse I was a fan immediately.
