No, but most bandwagoners are kids anyway so there's still time for them to pick a team and stick with it.

I'm not a bandwagon fan at all. I've been a LeBron fan since 2001.

I understand fans that root for their fav player and the team he plays for. However the phony ass bandwagon nikkas that root for whoever is the fav to win? :pacspit:

Two Heat fans in here defending their front running tendencies?

Even tho I didn't mention that team by name I'm SHOCKED they'd be the first to come stan for THEIR squads :snoop:

I keep telling you I'm not a Heat fan. I fux w/ LeBron and that's it. Don't give a fukk about Wade or Bosh other than them helping Bron.

Too much for you to wrap your unintelligent mind around I guess.

I used to fukk w/ Reggie and Jalen and Mark Jackson and them boys too. I liked that squad. But I didn't sign my soul over to the Pacers because of it. Good thing too or I'd sound like your dumb ass.

What about fans that don't start rooting for the hometown team until they're winning?

At least they have some type of claim unlike these franchise jumping...one player following embarrassments.

nikkas in here defending this fukkery cuz they know no better. They been bandwagon hopping so long they really have no idea what its like to be PASSIONATE for one team thru ups and downs

Players don't have ups and downs?

My city didn't have a basketball team growing up. So I should just pick some random ass team and put my mother's life on them? Stop.

I have much more reason to root for LeBron than any random team just to appease "that idiot Pacer fan" in the coli.

as long as youre not just following the crowd and/or trying to run with the winning/popular team.

case in point, one of my favorite teams right now is the KINGS. along with the HAWKS, knicks & celtics.

i roll with the teams whos rosters cater towards wacky d's liking. sometimes they may be a lottery team(kings), sometimes they may be elite(celtics knicks), or they may be the hawks & nuggets.

Being a casual fan gives me way more perspective and allows me to view the game from an objective point of view.

It also prevents me from sounding like a butt hurt, blathering idiot in every thread like the TS.

Why would being a fan of a team bother your perspective on the game itself?

I like being a fan of a team especially when times are hard becuz your squad comes out of that funk you have something to talk about. 2009 was a great example of that.

Not everybody but you know how there's fans of teams who can do no wrong. They're better or at least equal at every position, etc.

Like Laker stans still claiming Kobe > LeBron.

But I guess that depends on the person because I could do the same thing for an individual but I hold people accountable and like more than one player. Durant is my man too. :yeshrug:

But that comment is geared more towards my view of the NFL where I'm a die hard Bills fan because of geography, but because they've been irrelevant for so long I now look at the NFL totally different from when the Bills were good because I was blinded by red and blue but now that they're out of it I see that there's 31 other teams to peep.
