So being loyal to one player is worse than hopping from team to team? I'm trying to understand the logic. I know someone who's a Carmelo fan, and became a Knicks fan when he was traded there. If someone's following their favorite player to me thats more understandable than Lakers fans becoming Spurs fans just for the hell of it.

In my opinion, as long as they know about the sport outside of their favorite team of player, I couldn't care less. The worst is talking to "fans" and realizing they know absolutely nothing about the game or current events in the game, Just their "favorite" player.

I believe in loyalty, but I also believe you should have control over who you root for.
