Thats my guy.

I have the best dad ever.

Always there for me and gives that good advice.

Hard on me when he needs to be and always put his family first.

Hopefully I make as much bread as he does one day.

Hardest working and most consistent man ever.

Dont know where I'd be without him.

Everything I do is to make him proud.

Love that guy.

:blessed::win:

ATL…overly
Yes. Me & him had a tough year this past year with different situations (birth of my daughter, moving out of the house), but I still love my Dad. Many of my values, sense of humor & duty to family I got from my Dad

Of course, we may not get along all of the time but I'll be damned if that man didn't raise me well, provide for me and mom/sisters and make sure I didn't turn into some kinda fruity ass individual. He did everything he could and should have.

Yup... Even though things didn't work out between he and my mom, my dad was always loving and supportive from across the country.

I don't respect indifference. I could've easily accepted some aspects of being a bad father. You know, maybe took us to steal a few times? Made broken some promises? Gambling problem...I could've gotten over.

As a man yes As a father? idk.

He really is a good dude and person at heart.W/e he was going through, he always made sure bill was paid and we had food in our mouths and from the stories that my mom and Brothers and sister mom told, He wasnt a b!tch by along shot.

Its just that when him and my mom ended he became a part time Father to all his kids(It was 5 of us) which had a negative effect on all of us in different ways.

The part that hurt is i know he could/would be a great father. He just wasnt there when we needed him..

I had a part time daddy.life is what made/making me a man

I love my father to death and i respect him very much. Of his children i am by far the most like him temperament wise. He has done more for me than i have warranted so far. He sees more good in me than i do in myself. Over the years he has been an example and father figure for many young people he's worked with and i am reminded of that from time to time when smiling, proud faces in the city ask me how he's doing.

Nope.
Nope. I never agreed with my mom on that point, in regards to the "Honor your mother and father" thing.
