Do You Take Hopkins vs Mayweather at 160 Serious?

Ever since this Bernard interview came out saying he can make 160 by May I've been getting calls from the casuals asking if this is a legit fight.

I can't help but think Bernard even with that stretch of time would kill himself trying to make 160lbs healthy.

bernard is a holding ass nikka. He just throws a punch and goes in for the hold. He could probably do some work on the inside if he does that. Though I doubt he'd catch may enough to make it substantial enough to win.

Do I take it seriously as in would it happen? No. Bernard was clearly joking throughout that interview, but he wanted to be made sure it was taken serious that both he COULD make that weight if he wanted to and that he COULD beat Mayweather as well. He didn't want anyone to think THAT part was a joke.

And for the people who say that Hops could make that weight...... I think Bernard is the LAST person anybody should doubt when he says he can do something physically.

If Bhop is serious hed drop down to 160 first pick up a title then issue the challenge... that way there's no drained talks N the belt makes it legit
