People think that J Cole, Wale, and Big Sean are not good rappers when really they dumb a lot of it down to appeal to a mainstream audience. When they're rapping on a mixtape or freestyle or non album cut, they rip it 9 times out of 10

At least J. Cole and Wale come through with subject matter and presence on a track.
Big Sean can rip a song rapping about nothing, but his punchline lyrics would sound a lot better coming out of any other rapper's mouth.
