Sheek is a good rapper. He just has no type of mainstream appeal whatsoever as a solo artist. He's really a regional guy. Someone like a Jadakiss can appeal to say someone in the south as opposed to someone like a Sheek. Rap over any kind of beat. Rap with anyone. Do a song with someone like a Future & turn around a do a song with a Nas. Jadakiss solo albums don't do it for me(although I haven't heard his recent one), but he made albums with the intent to appeal to everybody.
With Styles P, it doesn't matter where your from, you can "feel" that nygga. You can feel his pain.
I don't remember Sheek ever being considered the weak link when they where an active group. In fact I felt his mic presence stood out more, because he didn't sound as monotone as the other two. Wasn't until the they started doing their solo ventures that he was all of a sudden the weak link.
I hate the Wish Bone comparisons. Wish Bone is terrible. It was very clear Wish was the weak link from the very beginning. I believe he's self aware, because he never bothered to release a solo project.
