I’ve done very well under the Obama and Trump Presidency, but I have the resources to participate in the stock market boom and appreciation in real estate value seen over the last decade.

I’d argue there are plenty of individuals that haven’t benefited from the last decade of economic prosperity. The wealth disparity has increased and this period of wealth creation is fairly concentrated.

What I’d love to see is a stat on the number of people dealing stagnant wages, rising childcare costs and crippling debt that vote against their interests.

What amuses me at times is Trump’s economic policies benefit me the “East Coast liberal” way more than it will ever benefit Joe Shmoe the Midwest Farmer
 but trump delivers on liberal tears

Michael Steele went on a great rant about understanding why working class people are getting duped by Trump. If stop and ask yourself the honest question *why* and why they don't even seem to care that he's incompetent, you'll understand how to get their vote.

Ok...why don't they care about Trump's incompetence and how do you get their vote? :jbhmm:

Trump's appeal mostly comes down to white resentment whether you want to admit it or not. I really don't think that's a strategy Democrats should try to replicate.

They’re broke, their kids are broke, and they can’t have the same modest lifestyles their communities have lived for 50 years. Ranch house on a couple acre, decent job, fishing boat, and a chance for their kids to go to college and get a step up. They keep voting for change and nothing happens. A trump vote is a way to troll the system.

houses on land are unaffordable, new pickups cost $60K, and kids go in debt for life paying tuition. Speak on that and any Dem will win.

They don’t care. trump is a Troll vote not a policy vote. They don’t think anything they do matters so why not throw a wrench into the works who’ll at a minimum piss off all the other cogs in the machine?

Wisconsin is the real prize

also you guys, Gore and Kerry barely won Wisconsin in 2000 and 2004

Obama in 2008 and 2012 really increased margins in these states big time
Yup and their is no Obama type dem running this year I believe trump will lose mich and penn but win Wisconsin especially if Bernie is the nominee

I hope not

I have faith in my state

And unrelated, one of the reasons I think Bernie can win is when I was going through the trade program, one of the guys who was publically speaking that day said he personally wanted Bernie as the nominee

That's just an anecdote so it doesnt mean much

We need somebody on that Obama shyt(would rather they really be about it but if lying gets trump out of office)

Trump will win ever state he won in 2016

Media has been lying to you like they did last time around

Yes, the Dem likely needs all three unless they win some other state they lost in 2016 like Florida/Ohio/North Carolina/Arizona.
