Matt Millen is from that era of white former NFL players with square jaws that didn’t need to do anything but sound tough to get an NFL job.

Man played 12 years and won four super bowls but seem like he was a pile jumper.

He then became a good broadcast guy and somehow turned that into being president of football operations for the Lions. No qualifications other than he played Pedo State, jumped on piles to get four super bowls and sounded ok on TV.

I don't think that ever happens again.

Smaller sample size but the Browns went 1-31 during the two years Sashi Brown was GM, selected 14 players in the 2016 draft and none of them got a second contract with the team

Millen's best year was 7-9. Even if you don't wanna give credit to Jerry for the 90s, Jerry's 8 year record from 2017 to now makes him look like God compared to Millen

Not going to fault him for taking Joey Harrington at #3 overall, but he then went THREE STRAIGHT YEARS taking WR's in the top 10. He spent a #2 overall pick, #7 overall pick, and #10 overall pick over a three year period on WR's.

I'm not going to say this person is the worst GM, but Trent Baalke ran Harbaugh out of San Francisco, the team got significantly worse, and then he went to Jacksonville and failed miserably.

I know someone said Sachi Brown, but he was given an edict by ownership to tank then got fired a year and a half into the plan. He's closer to a Sam Hinkie than a completely incompetent GM(he still did draft Garrett, though that'd be hard to screw up as he was the consensus #1 OVR)
