Do you worry about being in a mass shooting

As a New Yorker I’m actually surprised we haven’t had a mass shooting on the subway yet.

shyt if not NYC I’m shocked it hasn’t happened on the DC, Chicago or Boston subway.

I tend to especially get paranoid when the train gets stuck or is traveling a long length between two stops like the Manhattan Bridge/Williamsburg Bridge.

Smh I’m so paranoid by it I’m starting to think of the ways a shooter would approach this situation.

I work in NYC. I have to worry about terrorists, maybe a stabbing spree in Times Square, mass shootings, and maybe even being knocked off by someone on a bike who comes out of nowhere. Or the Hudson River Tunnel collapsing just because it's old as fukk. If I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go. I can't live my life being afraid of what ifs.

Not really but I won't lie that seeing the callousness and lack of empathy for fellow human beings shown in that video by that piece of shyt is sobering to say the least. Life can be gone in an instant.

But naw, its unlikely to happen and you can't live your life currently worrying about that shyt. If it happens it happens so you got to enjoy the time you are here and luckily you'll live a long healthy life.
