20 years ago today since Doctor Who returned to TV! (Or 20 years and a few weeks if like me you downloaded the leak!). Watched 'Rose' earlier and how I long for those days when they hype was huge and before the show started taking itself too seriously.



Looking forward to the new 9/Rose audios later this year. First one is set right after 'Father's Day'.

During the Doctor Who red carpet premiere, showrunner Russell T. Davies confirmed that Mrs. Flood is a proper major villain in season two.

There's a few rumours flying around about what happens with her this series. She let slip who she was at a small convention and it's surprisingly not leaked.

RTD has said that you need to avoid the internet until you've watched episodes 3 & 6.

Wasn't overly impressed by the opener.

Just found myself rolling my eyes at a lot of it and killing the cat wasn't on. If it wasn't for Mrs Flood I doubt I would be watching it this time.

And I'm also keeping an eye out for Alan Cumming as RTD said he's in episodes 2 & 6 and pops up throughout the series.

Lux was pretty good.

I really enjoyed it. Something different and visually great too.

Definiteky the best of RTD2, great episode. Rose Ayling Ellis was superb, got chills at times with how atmospheric it all was.

Didn’t really need to bring that creature back but it didn’t ruin its previous appearance the way the Weeping Angels have lost their luster.

Overall a really strong story and definitely feels like RTD is putting together a good run of episodes

The Mrs Flood thing is annoying and needs to pay off now.

Yeah I think a lot of people were worried that would happen but luckily it didn’t.

Flood answers not for a few weeks yet!

The finale looks set to be released a bit later on the day due to it being shown in the cinema.

And as far as I’m aware next week is an all non-white cast.

Then it’s the Interstellar song contest episode, and the 2 part finale. Really goes quick when it’s only 8 episodes and especially as there is no more Who on the horizon.

The spin-off should be out toward the end of the year though. Which is written by the writer of this weeks episode. I reckon the throwaway line about Mel being called away to an incident in Sydney Harbour has some significance. I wouldn’t be surprised if that show starts there.
