whats wrong with carmax??Carmax![]()
why you say that?It seems like a steal...![]()
doesn't seem that hardI taught myself. It was not easy. I still am not a good stick driver.
1. Put stick in neutral.
2. Press brake pedal.
3. Release emergency brake lever.
4. Start car.
5. Press clutch
6. Engage stick into first gear.
7. Press on the accelerator slowly.
8. Start coming up on the clutch slowly. The clutch will start grabbing and the car will go forward. If you come up too fast on the clutch, the engine is going to die. If you press too much on the gas, you are going to start squeeling the tires.
Once you are going, to switch gears.
1. Press in clutch pedal
2. Switch gears
3. Release clutch pedal
When coming to a stop, keep the clutch pressed in and put the stick into first. Also, keep the brake pedal pressed.
Getting in first or reverse from a stop is the hardest thing to learn. Shifting to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th and downshifting is easy.doesn't seem that hard
big possibility that i will fukkup my car engine?Getting in first or reverse from a stop is the hardest thing to learn. Shifting to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th and downshifting is easy.
No. Beginners usually will burn through the clutch faster than usual. There's a layer of the clutch that can erode through wear. Better drivers won't wear through it as fast, but it will still get worn down over time. Once it is worn, engaging the clutch won't get the car going. That's when you know you need to replace the clutch. Your engine will be fine no matter how many times you stall out the engine.big possibility that i will fukkup my car engine?
