people have long abandoned the actual definition of "plant".Song is heat. What I don’t get is. How is she a plant when she has old videos of her being a bedroom rapper (recording songs on her laptop). I remember my niece bein a fan of hers before signing to tde. I believe it was before covid too. Her grind is actually documented. At best all someone can say is she won too many awards too fast. But that about it. She’s definitely the most talented woman rapper out right now from a pure hip hop angle. Doja Cat is to bit I can’t lie, her last two albums came and went. The talent is still there though.
Actually, to be frfr. This song sounds like a Doja Cat song. They kind of sound alike. I think there’s room for both of them to flourish though despite that.

She just wack to me... but good for her.
Girlfriend out of Mississippi:Who do you like currently?
Also the drum pattern reminded me of “Who Killed Michael Jackson” by Jay Electronica first before I saw someone on twitter say it’s Grinding‘s drum pattern.
Girlfriend out of Mississippi:
She probably the only new person I'm really checkin' for.
I like lyricism and for me, her vocal production is solid.
Her lyrics don't feel out of place in the vocal melody.
The storytelling is clear. She got a vibe like she
know where her style come from and she
doin' the necessary updates. I like that
her music feels like its grounded
in a knowledge of previous
eras of R&B without
directly copying
them.
I think Pinkpantheress is really doin' somethin' cool, too:
I really like her energy and how her vibe complements the music.
Honestly, I'm more interested in what the women are doing now.

Tia is what Doche fans tried to convince me Doche was. We congratulate Doche on her success, but we are not blind to the facts. Plant life worked for Kendrick and in the end it may prove that she deserved the placements and undeserved accolades to boost her profile. We have to let it play out. The cream usually rises to the top like Macho Man once said![]()

I started to give her props because she was speaking my language in bits and pieces. But then Tia Corrine came on right after her. The difference is jarring.

NO lies detected but next time just make a tia corrine thread, no need to be hop in and derail a thread. & I aint feeling the Doechii song like that either.

Nah... nobody new. I gave you all I got. These two girls aren't rappers. They're singers. Any female rappers that you really rock with?
